Divine Retreat Centre in Colombo is a Holy mission initiated by the Lord, who is reaching out to do something beyond our asking and imagination. God’s love for this mission is clearly and amply seen at every turn in this endeavor upto now. We invite you to accompany us in the journey of this mission. This marvelous work of God will be realised day by day, with your generous support and loving cooperation.
Firstly, I would earnestly request you to raise the entire task before us, in your daily prayers, so that we may be blessed to overcome the challenges to complete the 1st phase, in the construction of buildings and other basic infrastructure facilities to facilitate the residential retreats, at the earliest.
Secondly, we earnestly request you for your support in resources Specially in financial contributions. Your involvement in any fitting form, will only accelerate the shower of graces in this ‘chosen mountain of the Lord’.
The saving ministry of the Church has been possible when every member contributes with their resources. You belong to the body of Christ. Each of you are already blessed in different forms, with what you must do to help build the kingdom of God. St. Paul reminds us, “Each one of us should give, then, as he has decided, not with regret or out of a sense of duty; for God loves the one who gives gladly.”
As we seek your assistance, in a spirit of humility, Love and gratitude, we assure you that every offering you make shall be used solely for the work of the Lord. May we remind you that, we can never out give God. Your offering to the Lord is bound to be rewarded in many fitting ways as the Lord thinks fit for each one of us.
